Ok heres my issues lol... I have a 1995 nissan sentra and Im having some problems recently and I cant really pinpoint it atm and sad to say I dont have tons of cash to buy tons of parts or tools for it so any help at all would be nice. atm the car likes to buck or surge sometimes at acceleration and will die occasionally at idle. It sometimes will just not want to rev. up at all like today i could hold it to the floor and it would rev up and down but very very low and took like 5 mins of pumping the gas etc to get it to acctually run steady again. It likes to hesistate also on acceleration at times. Other day it was parked in cold for a few hours and started fine and on take off it died and wouldnt start for around 2 hrs of almost constant cranking and peddle pounding. I have replaced the EGR valve and MAF sensor although theres a chance they could be bad since I got them from same place I got my AC compressor from that died in 2 months also. It doesnt act up all the time only here and there but its still alot now and causing alot of grief for me. I just replaced the wires, plugs, rotor, and cap also. It also seems to do it sometimes less when it is warm but occasionally more when its warm to... Sorry if im confusing anyone just really stumped atm and im not a mechanic, but I know my way around cars enough to take care of most things etc so anything would help atm. Ive been checking for vaccuum leaks etc but I cant find one and Im going to check my MAF terminals tom. as I have 3 MAF's atm and im trying to figure out which is bad atm since they came from same place as AC compressor. thanks

Thanks for the welcome lol What is CEL exactly not 100% on some terms sry lol. Temps is always fine in middle although i did notice i dont ever see my fans come on idk for 100% if they are or not. I did play with it today and checked for spark on all my plugs and they look good i took apart my distributor and cleaned some of the dust or carbon off deep inside etc and also played with my MAF alittle and for 2 short drives atm no problems. But im not counting my chickens yet lol. Thanks for helping

If your fans aren't coming on, your water temp sensor may be bad.

However, that doesn't explain the starting issues. Fuel injectors and fuel pump might make sense.

CEL = check engine light, AKA SES (Service Engine Soon) indicator on the dash.

the temp gauge moves up and down but i dont ever see he fans come on etc. My CEL likes to come on the ecm abit but ive did Self diagnois thru the ECM and nothing major nothing is bringing up codes really. It was acting up today again to so im gonna try to mess with my EGR valve next. Would that temp sensor cause it to buck and hesitate like that though? after that Ill try to find my knock sensor maybe and mess with that...It still could be the maf since the one they sent me was used and 3 pronged and looked like mine but numbers didnt match and when i used it it caused even worse bucking etc. Ive seen alot of people with same problems before but no one usually really says exactls fitd etc that I am and nothing which is why im worried about spending tons more on it. is why im worried about spending tons more on it.

Does the gauge bounce around after the car has warmed up? If so, is it on-throttle, off-throttle, or all the time? Regardless, if it's moving then either the temp sensor is bad or there's an air bubble in the coolant system.

Generally such issues cause a rough idle and maybe stalling/bucking.

What codes are you getting? Fairly minor codes, particularly in combination, could explain the symptoms.

Bad injector, O-rings, fuel pump all are still in play.

gauge doesnt move at all spradically so think its ok. asfor codes, any that i have got were all dealing with the maf but ony show up sometimes like when the car stalled for 2hrs that one time it came up not enough activity or something for my maf. Ive had a OBD2 scan run to one of my O2 sensors was crapping out but we replaced the front one instead of rear and rear hasnt complained since. other then that there hasnt been really any codes to set me off to what it is. Ive played with vaccuum and connectors alot and still wont do anything so dont think its that either but who knows lol. thanks for all the help sry for the trouble.

Lower part of the intake manifold/TB area. Shouldn't be too tough.
