ok so i have taken the head intake manifold and throttle body off than cleaned resealed everything and changed head gasket put it back car bearly started shaking lacking power horror!!! looking back when head was removed the wooden block holding chain poped out so chain moved a little than whle changing valve seals cam was never market when head was reattached of course sporket didn't wwant to fit so valve trains were lossened and cam was moved to fit sporket. after all the horror i figured timing must be off made sure sure timing mark on sporket mached the timing mark on the chain.car doesn't shake much anymore revs up fearly nice but still poorly accelerates and when i turn or come to full stop rpm drop down to 500 seems car is ready to stall but that stabelizes also seems that car throws air back into air intake when i rev up a bit i can hear a pop in the air box and the last thing mu muffler started to vibrate alot. cleaned fuel injectors changed air filter and fuel filter car picket up a bit in accel but still not even close what have i done what should i do????:help

if your timing gears are now correct and your dist timing is right on i would take a guess that perhaps a valve got bent during your repair. the popping in intake is the tell tale sign.
