Hello everyone, I picked up a 1990 q and was working on the sound system. A friend of mine got overzealous while removing the stock cd changer and decided to cut the wire ribbons.. (The multi colored ones directly connected to the changer) After, i showed him that the harness clicked off but now something weird has happened. The after market face i put in which was working doesn't get any power, And the trip meter will reset every time i turn off the car the driver side power seat and memory function only work when the car is on. And the passenger side seat doesn't work at all. And tghe air bag light is now on. Also the dome light doesn't turn on when i pull the locked door handle anymore and the seat and steering wheel no longer retract like before when i remove the key. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried looking in the fsm and was completely confused If i can't fix this the only other option would be to hardwire the new faces harness directly to the acc/12v constant in the system bypassing the stock radio harness. I really don't want to do this because it means running new wires to each speaker.

Ok guys found the problem a bad ground was shorting out the fuses each time the car was started. After fixing the ground the radio would just blink. Fixed this problem by adding a second ground wire to the stereo itself.
