NEED HELP PLEASE! IM HAVING STARTING ISSUES WITH MY 95 240SX!

OK WELL I JUST FINISH MY ENGINE REBUILD AND ETC. ON MY 95 240SX.I PUT MY ENGINE AND HARNESE BACK, AND GOTO TURN OVER ENGINE AND CAR WONT START. I HOOKED ALL GROUNDS AND ETC, STARTER HAS POWER TEST EVERYTHING WITH METER AND TEST LIGHT EVERYTHING HAS POWER AND NOTHING HAPPENS, STARTER WONT CLICK HAS NEW ONE IN CAR. TURN KEY ON AND NOTHING HAPPENDS!

first check the battery voltage with a volt meter if voltage is under 12.1 you will hear the starter try to turn over or a clicking sound. charge battery up or replace with new one once that's done new battery should be @ least 12.6

stupid question did you turn the motor over my hand? of course you did.right? well down to it. test voltage to the starter. put a test lamp at the trigger wire and have some one cycle the key to start. if it lights up then turn off when they release the key. your starting circuit is ok. you can have power to the starter but may not have the trigger from the ignition. make sure you have that bolt on to the right part of the starter. then try to jump the starter by direct power and ground right to the starter. if that don't click over then your starter maybe bad. even though its new/reman. and also check out the harness and make sure it you didn't pull out the ecu or something. STARTER FUSE? and ignition relays and fuse.good luck

well i checked everything all fuse and relays are good. and yes my motor turns by hand smoothly.well i did all the test and nothing,new battery and starter. and still wont start!

so the starter does not even spin? try hotwiring it, ignition switches go out a lot.

well i did everything you guys said todo. now when i turn the key to on postition the engine fuse box wires heat up, and the nuetral safety switch does too and it smokes. well i have all grounds and has power. the car was a auto did swap and ran. now after reuild its doing this

Dont get your panntys in a bunch. i was helping and apparently i didnt do a good enough job to your satisfaction.im so sorry. ill elaborate.By me saying that you have WIRING ISSUES i meant that, well, you have some wiring issues. start checking/tracing your wires. make sure there wired right, ran clean(none worn thru and touching metal or other wires) make sure their hooked up right. it sounds like you have either frayed/bare wires touching some metal or other wires. Also to check, because this can easily happen, make sure when you put in the motor that you didnt pinch the harness anyywhere. hope that helps, and in the future you dont need to get pissy when someone gives you a quick answer instead of a long drawn out one.hope you get it figured out

WELL IM SORRY JUST FRUSTRATED AND NEED TO GET MY CAR RUNNING ITS MY ONLY WAY AROUND. WELL I CHECK EVERY LITTLE THING SO IM GONNA TEARAPART HARNESSE AND LOOK THROW WIRES. ALL MY GROUNDS ARE GOOD GOT A FACTORY WIRING DIAGRAM
