Harsh? yes..maybe. It's when you type stuff, the reader can apply any tone to it. So if I say something like above comments, you can read it like I'm blasting you OR (just as likely) be chillin' sippin' and smokin'....The problem, and the blessing, with these cars that it's an addiction, and most times it's rewarding but there are moments that I can think: WHY did I buy that... but I'd rather be addicted to this than crack or gamb|ing...

By the way what did you decide to do, for entertainmnet only....

I decided to buy different wheels when spring gets here. something wider but I don't know have many ideas on what I want. I picked these wheels up because they were cheap and they looked good on my friends 240.

Try to pick something from this list if you're on a tight budget. These are my opinion on the best sized and most inexpensive four lug options for a 240.

I have five lug. I am looking for something that does not have a universal bolt pattern.

Oh... my bad. I was going by the info under your avatar. There's plenty of 5 lug options for you. You don't need help with that... Go browse around at Rimtuck.com

Look up MB weapons. Yes they are not the best, but they are inexpensive and look pretty damn good. They held up really well on the track plus if you smash one it's an easy and cheap replacement. I have an mid-90s set of RAYs wheels 'cause I found them cheapSize? You have to decide if you want run staggered or same size all around... here are some pics:

^ Yes half these @$$ clowns are just jealous idiot's lol, probably still rolling on stock tear drops, or some wire spoke crap. 17x7's belong on Honda's huh? I bet half the d@mn people on nico are running wheels like that. Oh so you want to run some deep dish VIP style wheels to pretend to be cool or some overrated ghey FNO1RC's that every ghey 240 has on them????? and spend like $500 a tire or put some Truck rims on your ride that are 18X15 and run some super swampers on them???? Each person has their own style, just cuz you want to run recockulous wheels doesn't mean it's the end all be all for everyone. I run 17x7's with Z32 calipers and they are just fine. I have also run kicks and ichiba wheel spacers no problem, sh*t half of d1 uses wheel spacers nothing wrong with them. I have a set of 13 inch Advans doesn't mean the wheels are sh*t they are bawlin just smallin tired of the ghey comments people make on here just because they think what wheels are a FAD are the coolest sh*t ever. Buy the wheels that fit your taste and clear your calipers and F@$% what all these fools rollin on truck wheels have to say. Seriously unless you are driving a GT500 Xanavi GTR you sure as hell don't need 19X12 inch wheels on your ride. Just my 2 C

Oh and P.S. Some Rota sh*t that is cast and falls apart when you get sideways at 70 is not a good wheel go forged or end up a broke joke smeared against a barrier with a cracked wheel laying 50 feet ahead of your now crumpled car. There are plenty of pics showing how awesome 300$ Rota 18's are haaaa

What are you talking about?did you even read the posts above, they were telling him to get new wheels because he would have to spend so much on spacers it wouldn't even be worth it. And most of the pictures of smashed up wheels are when people hit curbs doing 60, I have never seen a rota or sportmax break on the track, even after hitting the wall.

I could post plenty, it's not worth my time though.... All i'm saying is buy forged, better in the long run and don't let fads and other people d!ck what wheels you buy. Yes there were a few posts about just getting wheels with a better off-set but there were also ones bashing wheel and size choices, style choices and blah blah blah. So every one and their mother want Kai's and FNO1's, and Work's I say do something different other then what I see stereotypically on every hooligans 240 it's ghey. Go with some Stitch Gulfs, some BBS RS Meshs, some SSR longchamps, Volk C1's, some Desmopnds, have some flavor, to each their own, follow the crowd or stand out.Just make sure you check fitment but just because someone says don't use a wheel spacer doesn't make them right. I say if you like you wheels and you have to use a spacer for some slight clearance issues more power to ya. Though making sure the wheels you bought can clear your calipers first is a better idea Done with my 2 c lol

I love when people come on here and say that your wheel will break if you go sideways at xxx speed or hit a bump...shinanigans!!! this came up about a year ago and so I actually did look for pictures of broke cheap a** wheels...And guess what, I found alot of them broken flattened wobbly you name it. But to your surprise not one of them said, there i was driven at 70 miles an hour got sideways and blamo...my wheel broke...It was always, I messed up and hit a curb, ran over a curb, hit a pot hole, something that would damage any wheel. I mean honestly what do you expect to happen to a wheel when you do that stuff...Its gonna break bend or warp no matter what brand it is....to the op find a nice set of wheels and be happy with them, this isnt some fad crap. everyone knows wheels can make the car...Not the price of them.

simmode1: didn't ROTA GRIDS just come out with new sizes and offsets? Those 17x9 +12 you posted look pretty damn good. If I recall though, they didn't clear z32 calipers. Any idea if the new sizes do so?

The only Grids that I remember not clearing Z caliper were the 16x8's... I don't see why the 17x9's wouldn't clear if P45R's in the same size clear Z brakes fine... I mean, spoke design is damed near the same.

But I'm just guessing. No actually experience with that particular setup. Try asking that vendor that sell them... Agency Motorsports, I think...

Damn who the Fcuk are you? No need for name calling here. As for the OP, sell the wheels and get a something like 17X9 +12 to +25.

Hey guys, yes a noob here searching for some answers without much luck.
I'm about to piss off my BF by buying a 95 S14 cream puff, the thing is the wheels are stock for an SE model, 5 lug and look ugly. I want to know about 350Z wheels and what would fit just by bolting them on and the best tire size that would fit without moding.

I may have the stock wheels polished out if the 350 wheels are too expensive and will need to know the best tire size for the stock rims and the 350Z rims. I'm going to leave the suspension alone because I'm tall and don't want to lower it.

Thanks a bunch, sorry for crashing the thread but looked like a good place as any. I'll keep on the search engine too BTW.
