need help painting!

i was planning on doing some touch ups on my versa and i was wondering how you would go about doing that

i want to repaint the steel rims black because it is already faded

and there are also some chipped paint parts on the body that i want to touch up

what will i need to repaint the steel rims and chipped paint?

i already have some magnetic gray paint mixed up from a body shop

will i need clear coat or anything else?

can i also paint the steelies without taking off the tire (just put tape/newspaper over tires)?

yesh

I'd make sure to use wheel paint and also wheel clear to seal them.

as for the body stuff, I assume you need the paint you got mixed and a clear coat... but I've only done my plastic bits and I used wheel clear on them too...
