Solid advice!I would definitely read the FSM (Factory Service Manual)It will tell you how many tools and which tools you need to get the job done. Once you know the process inside and out. Search how to do the process on the internet (Via Google, Yahoo, NICO ect...)Searching on the internet will help because usually there are more pictures.
It wont hurt to search how to replace a head gasket on any engine also.It wont hurt to find some one that has done this before and is willing to do it with you so this way if can guide you though the process.
Only when you know EXACTLY what you are getting into can you really make the decision whether you want to or not...If you do go for it make sure to post a thread so if some thing goes wrong we have pics and might be able to find out whats wrong...
BEST OF LUCK
