Hello boys and girls!

Geez I have only been getting on here sparatically over the past week and a bit...I'm going through withdrawl I need my NICO fix!!Still trying to get my business settled in the new place with lots of work ahead of me, but nice to see you have all held this place together while I am gone!!

Anyways, my Infiniti guy called me and has made me an offer. I currently lease my 05 Coupe and love the car so much I was planning on buying it out at the end.

But, yesterday he called me to say he had a buyer for an 05 that wanted my colour with low km's. So he has offered to put me in a brand new 07 Coupe with no money down and it would be $100.00 less a month!!!

Basically just walk in, drop mine off and pick this up, a straight exchange.

From what I know, these cars are basically identical. Anyone want to throw their 0.02 cents in here??? Are they the same? Are the wheels the same (19's) I also want to make sure my winter tires I bought fit the new ones.

As always Thank-you gents!!

How many months do you have left from the 05 and how long do you have to lease the new one. You have to consider these. But it looks a really good offer.

good to have you back among us

Yeah the mods will be coming off and bolted onto the new one. Only with the addition of the MREV

I figure, since I'm putting the 5/16 spacer back on the new one...while it's apart, throw on the MREV..woohoo...sooo looking forward to it! I will read ALL the fine print of course, but my contact (the owner) at the dealership REALLY looks after me so I'm not really worried.

The lease is for another 4years, but he's like "don't sweat it, when your ready to move on, I'll look after ya" He helped me out bigtime when I had my 03 Maxima SE. got me out of my lease which had 2years left on it and into a G with no penalty or hidden fees.

So, for those of you in and around the Toronto area, let me know anytime you are looking for a Nissan/Infiniti... this guy is da bomb! He's in London Ontario and I'm willing to gamble he'll beat any other dealership price you throw at him

Thanks for the welcome back Zozoka!

*SIGH* it's good to be back!

Talk to you all soon and have a great weekend! It's gorgeous out so I'm gonna go blow some dust off my baby

If you have 4 more years that would be awesome deal.

It seems to be a verry good dealership. I'll keep it in mind for my next car.

Can I be the Devil and tell you that he is trying to get rid of the 07's before the 08's come out and lock you into a new lease.

My neighbor who works for Infiniti is telling me about this deal and how they are offering it to there current customers.

But if that doesn't bother you then jump!

LOL...I figured that too...but, I'm not huge on the look of the G37, even if I was I would wait 1-2 years for them to work out all the (if any) kinks with the car. By that time he would get me out of my 4year lease at no charge and into whatever I wanted!

So I did the deal yesterday. Had all my mods taken off, brought the 05 back to the dealer and picked up the keys to a brand new 07 Coupe! The car is virtually identical. Some really subtle changes that 05' owners would know right away. eg: leather on steering wheel and driver armrest seems wayy more softer (almost spongy) Infiniti emblem in on the floor "hump" in the back that seperates the passengers feetSeat belt holder built on the seats (+1 for that) Bluetooth (which I'll prolly never use) Extra speaker Rear brake lights are bubbled and protruding No orange flasher on the front headlight they are completley clear.A trunk release button on the brake lights (yayy for that, no more fumbling for my keys when my hands are full).

Those are what I noticed so far. The best part about this is I have brand new rubber to play with Newer clutch, no door dents or dings, no lil scuffs on the rims. Just brand Spank'n new...and it didn't cost me a frick'n dime to exchange. as I said earlier, it's actually $100 cheaper a month

And...I just treated myself to the MREV2, so when that arrives this week, I'll put all my mods back on.

Thought I'd share that with you guys, yet another satisfying experience with Mark McCarville at South London Infiniti/Nissan

So with that said I am Cocked, locked and ready to rock!!

How long did you have your other car leased? Did you have any equity in the car? (This is how they might be dropping your payments) You probably signed up for another 3-4 years, right?

If you wanted to play the new car game, you probably got a good deal. But anytime a dealer tried to make a "deal" for me, I'm skeptical...

At any rate, congrats on the new 07!

Hey Joe, I had signed a 4yr lease in the other one but was in it for 1.5 years before I just made the switch. I put no money down. so no real "equity"

This deal is for another 4 years, but, he told me he would prolly do the same thing 1-2yrs from now and put me in a new car.

He really is one of those "RARE" finds when it comes to dealers. He is part owner so I know he's not going anywhere. Like I said before, this guy is straight up and I would seriously recommend him to anyone.

As for pics boys...honestly, it is pretty much identical to my 05'

I'm not keen on the smaller spoiler though, it doesn't give the car as wide a stance when looking at it from the back.
