I have just done a brake swap and i need some help bc my brakes are not working as good as i want them. I did all 4 sides and i changed the MC as well but the brakes are really weak. I bleeded the brakes but the brakes grab at the very end and cant push the pedal any more bc the MC is pushed all the way and it doesn't lock the tires.(i locked my tires with stock 240 brakes.) I put a NABCO 1 MC and a Tokico MC but i dont know what it was and its all the same.

Did any body have this or do any of you have any suggestions. I think that the MC is not strong enough but i dont know how they work on 300zx then.

What is the bigest MC and how can i tell the differens bc some of them dont have any numbers on them Help Please

Sounds like you still have some air in the lines.

Yeah, air in the lines. Did you point the bleeders up when you were installing the new calipers? If not, you probably have a TON of air in your calipers.

Moved to tires/wheels/brakes/suspension.

yes, the bleeders are up and there is no air. So i am guessing nobody had a problem like that.

Mc prob is not the problem it just sounds like there is still air in the lines. I remember someone saying that the S13 mc could push the z32 brakes with no problem as long as they were bled correctly.

I assume you obtained the Z32 set up used. If so, do the rotors match the calipers? The 26mm rotors, brand new, are just at the wear limit of the 30mm rotors. In short, verify the rotors (front) match the calipers.26mm to 26mm or 30mm to 30mm.

Actually, its quite easy to install the 26mm rotor with the 30mm caliper. Symptoms of which are usually very weak to no pedal pressure, and very weak to no brake force, very similar to what you are experiencing. Also for some reason, all the parts stores here at least, show the 26mm rotors as the default part. Which means if you went in and asked for a 92 300ZX rotor, with no more info, you would automatically get the 26mm rotor.I hope this works out for you, as it is a benificial upgrade. I have had mine for over 5 years and love it, just check over the obvious things first. The possibility of overlooking the simple happens waaaaay to often.
