ok so i just got a really good job and i was thinking instead of spending money on my A/C, like ypipe, coilovers, front bumper fascia, tuner GT, Turbo, etc. pretty much everything u can do.just save my money cause we are talking about like 8 g's or more, and get a brand new 2010 or 2011 M3 but if i do get the M3 it will be but next aug. or next winter

so i would like ur input. what would u guys do. i know u must think if u can afford an M3 then go get it. but it would be smarter to just keep my car and turn her in to a monster but then again thinking about having an M3

oh and btw if i get the M3 i will boost it for sure with time

stay with the A/C

Idk im torn, I would get the M3 because its an M3, but everything will go up gas, insurance, payments, but you'll be driving a fast bimmer.

With the A/C less maintanance, lower payment, cheaper aftermarket parts, better gas.

If i had a 6 figure a year job, living alone, then I would get the M3 but if your making a little less than 100K a year stay with the A/C get a house

ok u want some financials......do u have a house or a condo as in do you pay rent or a mortgage....

if you pay rent keep the a/c and buy a house or condo

if you dont pay rent and are sitting pretty on alot of dough go ahead and treat urself but imo that s*** can run u upwards to 70k sooooooo ide think about it first i mean its fast and amazing but worth 70k idk thats ur call

it just comes down to do u have the money to piss away on a sweet azz car bc u could f w/ the a/c n it could be alot cheaper and itd be kool ude have everything

Where is hussain to tell you to get the 335i??? lol

Since it's already a twin turbo, just upgrade the turbos!

So, if you are willing to spend 70k ish......why not GTR??? Thats my vote

im already going to go with the M3, but if thats going to be your daily driver, that isn't the smartest decision. i would take a M3 in a heartbeat and im dumb like that because i rather have a fast car then care about the weather you know.

but if your going to spend around 65 ground, i think you would be even more happier in a GT-R. It's more reasonable and it's more of a daily driver car. how much money are you going to put the for the m3 if you get it?

the 335i is an awesome car, but next year it should be getting a face lift so if you want to get a fully loaded 2010 335i or xdrive you will be looking at the base price of a M3 which is around 65,000.

so many decisions. why don't you go for a used ferrari like a testarossa or a F355

i dont pay rent but i will within a year just want to stay in the nest for a lil longer so i can save up money

well i would but i love the M3(looks and its a BMW) and i plan on boosting it if i do get it and the GTR is already boosted. and the M3 Boosting will be a faster car then the GTR,

again 335i is already boosting and if i'm going to spend that much money then i want a really fast a$$ car. i was planing on turning in my A/C (by that time i'm guess i'll get like 12000, i have 30000 miles already) and put down like 20000 to 30000, so my payment will be around 450 to 550.oh msrp is 57000 but the way i want it its 64000 and i would do that thing they have about go pick up ur car in Germany and get 7% off, its cool they pay for ur trip and u get to drive on the autobahn

thing is though, most (if not all) factory supercharged or factory turbocharged cars are made to take some crazy abuse.... the motor in the supra (2jz) came boosted with 300 hp. if you look at it that way and at the time have said you wanted a E46 M3 because it's N/A with 333 hp and can be boosted, it would have been a big mistake. i've seen turbo E46 M3's with 700+ HP but ive seen supras with well over 1,000 hp. i HEARD (not sure if its true but i heard) from a guy with a supra that the factory internals would hold 1,000 HP.....

the reason why so many people love factory supercharged and factory turbocahrged cars is because they can take soooooo much more then the come with from the factory as apposed to a N/A car which you have to build up the motor to handle a lot of power.... GT-R handles waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better then the M3 but RIGHT NOW the transmission can only take about 650 HP before going out... several companies are already working on solutions for this and will eventually solve the problem but as of now, its a big problem if you try to mod it.... if you want something super fast then go with a 500 HP z06 corvette that you can do some major work to... or a Zr1 but that comes factory supercharged and you dont like that.

Quote »M3 is a daily driver http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard...Storycheck out the videos[/quote]just realized you live in florida lol. im sorry about that. since you live there, i would totally get the m3, that is the sexiest M in my opinion. but hopefully when the new face lift coupe comes out, there will be a new face lift for the m3 as well because i already saw the new m3 sedan with the new changes!

If I made more money, I'd go for the GTR, it's faster and sexier.

My supervisor has an 09 335i, chipped. His father has an 08 M3. The chipped 335i wipes the FLOOR with the M3. I would go with the 335i any day of the week. Its incredibly underrated. Something about that inline 6 not being in the m3 anymore makes me feel weird about it.

my friend has a 335i and claims he raced a E92 M3 and the M3 got him by like a car. both cars were stock. the 335i is really underrated.... thats why every time someone wants to upgrade to a different car, i always recommend a 335i.

I agree. Anything with turbo is usually set up for tuning. Besides... Buying the M3 would be the financial death of $65,000. Those BMW snobs... That's why I'm going with WRX = )

off the line the M3 would take both the 135i and 335i/xi. but on a roll, the 135i/335i,xi takes it becaues the 335 and 135 have more torque because of turbos. there were a couple vids on youtube, you should go check it out. get the new coupe with the changes when it comes out, my mom has a 335xi coupe and let me tell you man. it's out of this world!

i heard the twin turbos for the e92 335i burn out faster when its chipped and that even if the 335i is stock its been recalled due to problems with the twin turbos. i mean the 335i is a beautiful car i would just take the m3 in this case. An M3 is an M3 at the end of the day and youll always turn heads with it.

Well, if you are living at home still I would hang on to what you have now until you relocate. Then, at that point, I would see what my commute and job security look like along with your finances.

Jumping from an AC to an M3 would be nice but taking a more gradual approach and putting that money into other areas of your life that are lacking might be the smarter approach.

Having an M3 but living at home is like being a male model with no d!ck. Yeah you look good but you're still not getting laid.

well when i get the M3 i will move in to my moms appt. on miami beach and take over payments which is only like 1,000 and thats not bad for the beach

lmao very true. but again if i do get the M3 it will be in a year or two at most so i would be in an appt. on miami beach at that time

so after thinking look and hard. also taking in what ever one has said i believe the best thing to do is to wait and see where i'm at in a year or two from now and then i'll make my decision [meaning can i spend around 40k(down payment and maybe turbo) at once and still be ok and have money saved up for my future]. but the question is from now till then do i boost the altima till then??? or just sit on my money and have a very big itch till then lol

and talk you for all of ur opinions

m3 for the adaptive suspention, for the v8, for the carbon fiber roof, for the agressive fascia and for the fact that its an M car. 335i is nice and easy to boost.

but it doesn't have the" track suspension when you want and comfort cruise when you don't" adaptive suspension.

plus the sound of the v8 in the m3...oh lawd

i'd go with the m3 hardtop convertible coupe if I had the dough.

get a used one and save like half off. no one in his right mind buys a bmw new unless he's rich. bmw love value the moment you sign the papers.

i'd buy a used bmw m3 (the new ones not used as in the old gen) and call it a day. in red please. with black carbon fiber roof.

that or a used porsche 911 or cayman S.

thats y i want one so bad and if u look at the videos that is on their website about the M3.

they put so much work in to the car and 80% is changed from the regular 3 series so its more of a race car like mcheddadi said.

and how did u know i wanted it in red with that CF roof. then some sick black and red rims
