Hi, first of all i just want to say that i am a new member and really enjoy reading the NICO-Forums...especially about the RB topics. I guess you guys got me enjoying so much that i decided to do the RB swap!!!! . Anyway, I am doing the RB20det swap on the s14. I got the engine in and everything...and i am using the ka lower harness, therefore i don't need the 8 wires plugs but three wires (white/purple, black/red , and the white/black) off the 6-wires plug on the rb harness. right? But somehow i am a little confused to where it connect to the engine-fuses box. I followed the intruction that it says that...the white/purple(RB) on the 6-wires plug to the white-wire (KA) coming off the ignitor 30 amp-fuse....the black/red (RB) is going to the (GRAY) oval plug near the battery...and the white/black (RB) going to the white-wire (KA) on same oval-plug.....and last, the brown ka plug next to the gray-oval (KA_plug)....run a wire from the black/pink wire on the plug and slice the wire into the black/pink wire at the ECU. But somehow looking at my s14 fuses-box i couldn't find the plugs that the intruction has mentioned. I guess it's for the s13 only. Also, the engine cranked and turn-over, but it's not firing up...i guess that because i fried one of the chip-sensor on the ECU!!!! ...so i tried to test and check to see if i had any power coming off the ignition coil and the transmitor. It does had power to all of the 6 plugs that plugs to the ignition-sparkplugs....but when i put the screwdriver into ones of the ignition coil and crank it up...it doesn't had or show any fire or power. Maybe because i fried one of the ecu chip....or the transmittor is bad ....or the ignition coil pack is bad. But my main concern right now is the three wires that i had mention. Please somebody can help this poor man out!!!! Hi...Kamin and CarlH....i had read lots of your post and it's seen like you guys know what you are doing....Hope you can help me out. Thanks.
