need help on s13 ka24e

alright heres the deal ive completely rebuilt my beloved ka24e on my 1990 nissan 240sx. but it wont start it keeps on cranking but will not start. does n e body have any reference pics on the distributor installed on the motor. please any help or advice would help me so much. by the way im a newb.

i think the distributor may be on the wrong way or sumthin.

does it seem like it has any spark at all? even if the distributers set in there backwards it would still start you would be fouling out every spark plug you have but it would start, my suggestion would be check the fuel lines, make sure there connected correctly. I pulled that one on a 280z I used to have, I looked like an idiot when I brought it to the shop finaly. I havn't really gotten that far into my 240 as to try fixing stuff that aint broken, but it looks to be the same set up as the 280z where the distrubter has a bar that goes straight through to the oil pump. I could be seriusly wrong on this one though. if I am then I would be happy to get some pics of how the distributer should be set up. and you should check the wiring for the coil alot of people I know who have rebuilt or done anything motor wise have put the wires on backwards

check for spark, fuel and compression and wiring for you distrub.

This figure will take you to the ballpark TDC in terms of the rotor's potion. The left side of the picture is the front of the engine.
