First of all be CAIRFULL. Im not sure but I think the KA is an interfearance motor. This means that if the cam timing is set wrong the piston will kiss the valves. Pistons and valves dont like phisical contact so that should be avoided ;P

Anyway you should contact TheSnail about the twin cam setup. He was running it in his S13. From what I unerstand you dont need to repin the cam or gear. You simply move the gear three teeth over I think its counter clock wise? But im not sure you will have to do some more searching.

For what its worth TheSnail said that with the twin 242 exaust cams all the torque was above 5k. He also said that the engine just kept pulling all the way to the 7K cutoff.

Sounds like a sports car engine instead of a truck engine huh?

You don't have to repin the cam. I searched on this extensively and found that you can rotate an exhaust cam 4 teeth to correct for not repinning it and you will have 248/248 which is the same as the nismo cams.

do some searching and you will be able to get the info you need. if i remember correctly, it referenced an offsite link.
