welcome. you need ideas for diy or parts suppliers? if parts check out the vendors forum, jwt, stillen, cattman and many more...for diy you'll need to be more specific though.

Just remember the gains cannot be JUST SUMMED, as many occur at different rpms. After the first 10 rwhp, each successive becomes harder and harder to achieve.

A good estimate is $100 per RWHP how many to you want. There are serious walls [ 80 lb/ft per liter flywheel] on torque due to displacement and CR.

19 and from NY, figures you want big hp gain go turbo, don't make it loud - just doesn't go right with a max.

No need for multiple threads on the same subject at the same time, so combined your new one with your original one (which had all the info anyway).

Best bet is just to shop around. Take a look at the previous posts in this thread like jsmithsole's and compare different dealers' prices. Even plug the parts he listed into google and see what comes up.

I don't believe anyone offers a throttlebody for the newer Maximas. With the 3.5 liter, the throttle went fully electronic (no cable) and has the TPS integrated. So aftermarket TBs would be expensive. Since the ECU (and TCU) uses the TPS to determine a lot of different things, I doubt that electronic TBs from other Nissan models would work with the Max either.

Will you be installing and tuning or will someone else be turning the wrenches and working out the details of making all the parts work correctly together. Honestly, on that car, I would leave well enough alone, but if you want loud, put a big can muffler on and drive the snot out of it...--Mike
