New to the forum but glad I found it. At any rate, I just bought a 370Z and I need some assistance with this wheel size/offset I plan on getting as I'm not too familiar with offsets and what will work or won't work.

Here's my setup, any advice/help would be greatly appreciated:

18 X 8 front/18 X 9 rear; 225/50 front and 275/40 rear.

I'm looking at getting the following setup: 18 X 8.5 front with +30 offset and 18 X 9.5 rear with +25 offset.

I mostly worried about the rear offset, will it fill the rear wheel-well? Also, will I need a 245/45 tire for the front?

I would go with 19's & buy top quality tires.
Front: 245/35/19 offset +15-+20
Rear: 275/35/19 offset +20-25 or 275/30/19 offset +20-+25

Just remember you can't run to aggressive offsets up front as you could on the z33. Now the rear is still the same.
