I have replaced my knock sensor , my fuel filter (300zx) , dist. rotor and temp sensor....I also noticed my pcv hose was cracked so i replaced that.... I cleaned out my throttle and still the problem exist....

Problem is: When I start the car it sometimes act like it wants to die..and some times it shuts off....In most cases it runs fine....I noticed that when the temp gauge is on low temp it wants to die down and it takes awhile for it to rise when i start it up in the morning....Then I noticed that when my temp is where its suppose to be at, it works fine....but sometimes the temp needle moves back to below operating temp and then the car hesitates....so if i where to go 65 mph or any speed and the car would then hesitate....and if i where to put it on nuetral it would then shut off.....

So please if anyone know what my problem is please tell me......I have never had that problem on a 240 before.....

I have a 1995 nissan 240sx SE

PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=(

check your grounds yet? if your gauges are dropping youre losing power. test your battery and recheck all cables.

how you you know? have you tested them? retest them anyways. check the charge on the battery, make sure the cables are connecting properly and snugly on the terminals everywhere in the bay.

thats the only thing i can think of that would be affecting your temp gauge like that as well. if your injectors were cutting out it wouldnt do that.

Do you think that the temp gauage sensor is messed up.....should I replace that......but for sure I will check for power through the cable see if there'z any loose wires or plugs....but checking and solving the gauge problems, would that not make the car hesitate and stall anymore?

Is the engine actually cold as the gauge indicates? Might be easiest just to replace the thermostat.
