Took my car to a custom body shop today to see if they can buff out the oxidation on the hood, roof and trunk of my car. Unfortunately, it looks like the white marks which looks like hard water is under the clear coat. Can anyone give me a ball park figure on how much it would cost to repaint the entire car?

My car is red. Looks just like my avatar. I'm thinking a red with an orange pearl...like the 2009 Corvette. Costs ?

it all depends.

Most of the work in painting a car comes with the prep work.

Shooting paint onto the car is easy.

There are different shops with different skill levels.Different brand paint with different quality.

I pay no more than $500 for my paintjob on my car.

same here, but my dad works with a guy who does it for a hobby and he is looking forward to doing my car (likes the body-style && lines).

the majority of the cost is $paint$ since I am helping him prep it.

shop around, make friends with your painter(s) and offer to help them. Stray away from places like Maaco, etc.
