need help on my 89 240

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

just drop a new motor in the car but wont start. have no spark so i change my distubritor and coil already and still no spark. if anyone knows plz help me out.............thx

just a stock single cam motor.........

Check that the coil is working and for grounds.

check spark plugs, and ignition module.

Will the motor turn over at all and just wont start???

How did you check spark??

Does the ECU Light turn On??

take the starter off and bring it to Auto Zone to have them test it first then try everything else.

if the starter isnt getting signal... obviously its starter

if u have no spark...check ur ecu if its tightened down properly, that was a problem with mine...and it fired rite u after that

check the starter module above the ignition coil

autozone has a tester there...tell them to set it for ''17'' i believe

if thats is bad...u found a reason why ur not sparking...

when u checked for spark...did u check from spark plug wire...or directly form the coil plug...?
