I'm stuck on step four where you wire the grey wire with the black/red wire. I don't have a grey wire on my rb efi plug. Can anyone help me out? Where does the grey wire go? Thanks.

BTW I have a type 2 rb25 engine.

exactally, dont worry about the grey wire. if it dosent work without it we can help you fix it.

there are some small wiring diffrences with the type 1 and 2 wiring, the type 2 has no ignition relay or need for an external power for injectors. im assuming this "grey" wire does something related to those. that was my 1 complaint with the 8 steps wiring, he told what to do now WHAT each thing is.

gani, do youknow what it conects to? i do have a wireing diagram for the rb25, but i dont know what series it is. according to that, the grey wire is conected to one side of all the injectors. does this make since to you? what are your thoughts?

the grey wire is the power wire to the injectors for the series 1.

you dont have it.

the type 2's dont need an external power for the injectors.

and why are you afraid to start it? worst case scenario it dosent start. you arent gonna hurt anything.

check you ignition wiring from the key to the starter. or just turn the key to the on position and get a switch for the starter to jump the whole system. if this does help then go through your wiring again. does your gauge cluster light up when its in the key on postion? if not check you wiring ,battery, grounds
