Did you hook the heater hoses back up after the swap?

I'm going to purge the cooling system again. I think there still might be some air pockets in system. I'll update soon!

Thanks for everyone's help. I finished purging the cooling system and now have heat from vents and no coolant boiling. Now just get the damn thing tuned

I installed my coolant purge funnel on top of the radiator, filled with the correct mixture, started & warmed up vehicle, squeezed both upper & lower radiator hoses, turned on the vent fan to max with max heat setting, turned off car & reinstalled radiator cap, topped off coolant reservoir to max level, then restarted the vehicle and opened the bleed screw until i had a smooth stream of coolant coming out. My car now is running fine.

1. raise frontend of car2. drain coolant from radiator & reservoir (clean reservoir while it's out)3. remove engine block plug & drain coolant.4. ofcourse reinstall plugs.5. install radiator funnel (if available) and add 50/50 coolant mixture into radiator. (I added Redline water wetter also).6. start engine & allow to reach normal temp.7. turn fan to hi speed and temp to max hot.8. squeeze upper & lower radiator hose to push out air pockets.9. watch coolant level in radiator & top off as needed.10. turn car off when no further bubbles from radiator.11. top off reservoir to max level with 50/50 mixture.12. open bleeder valve on neck where upper rad hose connects (10Mmm).13. restart engine and let bleed until smooth flow comes out.14. tighten bleeder valve when done.15. double check that hot air is coming out of vents and coolant is not boiling over.

I'm not sure if I left any steps out, but this should be thorough.
