i just reprogrammed my ecu at nissan a few weeks ago and a few days after that i got a p1320 in my 2000 maxima and on top of that i got the misifire code p0306. also i had the rotten egg smell which i know its the cat and my car was running terrible, the motor and whole car was shaking. i tested all the coilpacks by unplugging each pack to see if the car will bog and i came to the conclusion that coilpack cylinder 6 was definitely dead and misfire was definitely on cylinder 6. so i changed the coilpack on cylinder 6 and car runs fine now. not sure if its me or not but the car still feels week. now im still getting an SES light, same code P1320 but no misfire codes after that. i know there's a TSB for the maxima also. what should i do? dump another few hundered bucks on replacing the rest of the coils? i been wanting to do that but im kind of on a budget. please dont flame on me, i searched the best i could before i posted. thanks

1320 is related to the coils. If you want to try and save a few bucks. buy one coil for each side[since they are physically different]. Put them in on either side clear your code and drive it. If the light comes back on with the same code swap in the coils you took out with the 1 on the front you havent and 1 of the 2 left in the back . clear the code again and drive it. If the light returns again swap out the 1 remaining coil on the back with the one you took out last, clear the code and drive again. If the code returns you have more then one bad coil. buy another for the rear and conduct the test with the 2 older ones on the back again. Just make sure you note where your putting the new ones so you dont accedently swap them out.

The coils take like 5 mins to swap out so this test wont take much to do. The time might be the time it takes for the light to come back on. This is the money saving way to do it since each coil is about $80. If you want to just replace the remaining 5 have at it.

Your feel of lack of power may be as a result of a bad maf.

Did you have the ECM reprogramed when you replaced the maf? You have to do that with the replacement maf.

if you dont reprogram your ECM you risk burning up the new airflow meter. The damage may already be done.

if my MAF is fried, wouldnt that throw another code rather then 1320?

Most of these mafs on the a33 max are not throughing codes. The typical complaint is lack of power under hard accel. Your 1320 is definitly related to the coil problem. But once you resolve the code issue you still need to get the reprogram done.
