SO i bought rims and found nice ones at a great price. I HAVE A 2008 nissan Rogue SL. i bought a set of 20's and plan on going with the only tire that really fits , which is a 245 40 20. Now i understand this will give me the same size as what i have now. I know im gonna get more road sounds and stuff. However i wanted to get springs and the only company who makes it is H@R. The guy at costco told me if i get 20's and lower ill be rubbing all over. Is this true >?? :gotme

You're taking advice from a guy a Costco?

The H&R springs lower the front and rear ride height by 1.4 and 1.3 inches, respectively. You need to research how much taller the tires will be than the stock wheels/tires. Compare these measurements to what you see on the Rogue and make a decision on whether they will fit or not.

OHH no you read it wrong. 245 40 20 is the ideal size by the chart eddnog added in the forum . The costco guy wanted 245 45 20 which might be a problem. My issue is where do i buy the springs as H@R is in back order . Ive called all over and no one can get the springs

what should i do >>? :gotme

Just get the springs off Ebay or something.

As for the tire sizes, it depends on the width of the wheel also, not just the height. When he talks about rubbing, it'll be mostly when you're turning. The springs won't add THAT much of a drop. You can always add a smaller tire if you want, but that of course will have an effect on your ride quality, and not to mention your speedometer reading.
