Need help...new tires

Hey guys i gota get some new tires for my s13 coupe. Just to let you know it has a s14 5lug conversion and s14 se wheels. So im looking for tires size 205/55/16. The car isnt going to be driven in the snow but maybe in slight rain. I want something that will handle very well in dry weather and will last me atleast a decent amount of miles. My price range is about 500 for all 4 tires maybe a little more. You gots got any suggestions? tirerack.com says the yokohama avs might be good for me but i have heard some bad stories about that tire wearing really quickly. Anyone have suggestions on tires for me? thanx
