If anything, it will require that you heat the aluminum (in the oven to 450+) and then press it out. You will then quickly have to press the new part in. This is a technique that is used in factory production. This is not something that you or I usually do, especially when you can guy the upper intake for 20 bones. But do what you like, it can be a learning experience to the brugeoning metallurgist.
