The only way this could possibly void your warranty regarding this issue would be if you had to splice into any wires to connect these items. Even then though, you would've had to splice an incorrect wire, the one that controls the "beeping" when locking.nickwillhite wrote:do you think installing the homelink mirror , a rear fin with LED tail light , and the 6000k headlights will viod my warrenty
i made sure that i didnt cut or splice on the headlight or mirror mods , i guess im headed to the dealer and thanks for all the helpJAFO wrote:

To get back to your problem, as far as I know the only sound you are able to control through the fob is the horn sounding when you lock the car using the fob (you can turn this on or off by holding one of the buttons). I am unaware of any way to manually disable the beeping upon locking/unlocking the car via the door handle button.
If I were you, I'd take it to the dealership for warranty work. None of the aftermarket items you've installed should void your warranty.
Sorry about that. Thats usually the fixes little electrical problems Try plugging in the stock mirror and see if things go back to normal. Then track the problem from there.nickwillhite wrote:no i tried it and no luck
I'm not 100% sure for the, but on most vehicles the "beeping" or "chime" comes from a speaker in the cabin somewhere. I assume the fuse for the "beep" would be included with other miscellaneous interior lighting/electrical.nickwillhite wrote:hey one last question , where does the electronic beeping come from , is it a horn or something else i looked for a fuse and the only fuse i found was for horn
Huh? My car never beeped... Not the honking, which I know of.nickwillhite wrote:The horn still sounds when you lock the doors but i like the electronic beep when you press the button on the handle.
