girlfriends engine blew to make the story short

the weird partially raised o-ring between the lower timing chain cover & the block for the oil passage got crushed,

is that o-ring the metal one that has the rubber coating and is raised? otherwise i put it in the wrong part( the kit i got DID NOT inclue all the gaskets,i got lucky and dug in the trash, but couldnt remember if it was the one)

if that is the one,do i need a metal one with the rubber ring around it,or can i use a regular one?

also if i CANNOT replace it,whos got a part number for it?

and if this dosent go to the oil passage, what the hell does it go to?

as you can see it was all raised at one point but nearly got completely flattened

go to http://www.courtesyparts.com and go to parts and then your car year and model, look at engine mechanical, or lubrication and find them and parts and a factory dealer price, hope this helps.
