It's no problem at all. That's what the forum is for, to talk and to help people.

umm i was wondering where is the courtesy light? =Xalso like for the H1/6 wire where do i find the trunk wires? do they run next to the driver side door like a red and a blue or something?

umm....as for the ignition wires is it ok if i splice further up the wire like the white wire turns into a white/red iirc... i spliced the white/red i hope its ok...-thankss
You can splice it anywhere. Just don't get the wires mixed up when the color changes.

For Nissan_S15_240sx... wow, you sure spent quite a bit of money on your swap. I would really like to see your car if you have images of it. For me, everything that is done to it, I did myself. Not sure why I attempted a S14 SR swap into my S13 chasis but I did. Took the wiring to a local shop and they were clueless so I had to attempt it myself. I was sure I'd fail miserably and already was gonna get a new wiring harness from courtesy parts. Surprisingly it worked. I was so sure it wasn't going to work, otherwise, I would of done a write up. Anyway, hope you have better luck with XAT and keep us up to date with your progress. For me, I'm shooting for maybe 350hp, don't want it to be a gas guzzler especially when gas prices are so high. Gonna insolate it with some rubberized spray and make it as comfortable as possible. Want it to be a nice quick car I could go cross country cruising with and not have to stop every 10 blocks for gas... if you know what I mean. Anyway, good luck!

Yeah I totally agree about the gas guzzeler thing. but I would still like to up in the 400-450HP range. I'll try to post a pict. Every time I try to it says that its to big so i;m not sure hot to.

That was the S13 SR20DET I had in my last 240sx. I ended up having to part it out because I couldent get it to work properly. I'll try to put some pictures of the car it self. Now it diden't look like much but boy would it scream.

o ok i have a few more questions now =X

umm on the little ecu or whatever i think its the remote start...where the heavy gauge wires connect too...there is a harness w/ 4 wires that come out of it that i dont know where it goes too... do i need this or something/

man its hard for me to solder the thick wires... =\ i think my solder is too weak or something... so i just wrapped it w/ electric tape alot lol

also... i was wondering on what you said about the e-brake

"H3/5-BLACK/WHITE, (-) neutral safety swich input, I hooked this wire up to the swich that came with the alarm. Then I hooked the other wire that was on the swich to the wire that comes off your E-Brake (I think it's yellow/green) And ofcorse you'll have to find where you want to mount the swich but either way there is only one wire that is comeing from your E-Brake. Now I did this so if I remote start my car and anyone tries to steal it, you cant drive it with the E-Brake on so if you put it down the engine will shut off."

so you cut off the ebrake wire and soldered it to the end of the white/black one or did you splice the white/black one into the ebrake wire?

also on the shock sensor thingy...the harness that goes to it has one green wire that loops around and one green wire that leads to nothing...what am i suppose to do w/ this green wire? and which side of the harness goes where?

-thanks a bunch

hey guys...i followed ur guide nissan_s15_240sx and i got everything working except the remote start. when i go 2 start it, it tries to start it (i have the clutch in) and the starter starts but then the engine doesnt start it just dies out...any diagnosis on this? it almost starts, like the starter motor stops revving and the engine seems like its gonna start, but just doesnt.. similar to having no gas almost...it starts for less then a second and dies.

i already have it installed...i just need to get the remote start working. everythings works fine except remote start...anyway, i have a five speed anyway so somewhere like best buy wont install remote start. however i love danger and want the power to start my car and scare people with it.

yeah its telling me theres low or no rpms when i do shutdown diagnostics. i did follow the write up to the word, well except for the door trigger switch, i hooked that up at the driver side door switch. i cant get it to learn the tach, which is what i believe to be the problem. i know i have the right tach wire, maybe i just need to keep trying? persistance = hopefully me winning. i hope i win the lottery lol. if i do, expect to see me driving the best 240 ever. that means it can fly. and cook me breakfast.

hey i actually figured it out...i got the colors on the remote start part mixed up since the colors of the wires change colors after the ignition harness...man that sucked lol. but im having a problem with the starter still running after it remote started. i know its getting a tach signal because it learned the tach and over rev protection works.
