ok this mught be a stupid question but i want to know what will happen if i hooked the speaker wires on my new headunit to the bose amp instead of the pre amp outputs? I thought the bose amp/speakes were good quality but recently i added 2 12" and now the bass is way louder so i can't hear a thing except the bass, the bass boost is in 0 and pretty much every setting on the amp is as low as it goes and still, so is there any way to make the bose speakes go louder right now i have no money to invest in a new amp and speakersthanks D

if you hook the radio directly to the bose amps you are going to add the power of the radio to the amp which will cause distortion. i just recently put my aftermarket head unit in my 94 Q which came with bose. i am not happy with it at all. i can barely turn my stereo up. i think i will change out the bose for aftermarket so i can get some more sound out. the bose is set up for quality, not loudness.
