Hye Guys!!!

I thought i posted it yesterday but I couldnt find it hehe so here i go again.

One of my injectors is bad, this is the 4 injector that goes bad and dont have any more replacements so im thinking on upgrading to bigger sized ones!!

Some of my options
440cc from R32 GTR
a set from 13B
got some from eclipse that are 550cc

Now my car has a FPR, walbro fuel pump, the stock internals CA has a T28 and also run with an AFC boosting 10 PSI planning on 12 or 14, not looking for a lot of HP I have 242 whp with my current setup and im ok with it

1-Do I need to change my AFC for something better if I upgrade my injectors?

2-Would it be a good idea to get the N60 MAF now that im upgrading? do i need to change anything in my ECU or just do the wiring?

3-What is the best injector option, as i said before I´m not looking for 18 PSI so

Im driving my moms honda :ohno: cause my car is parked at home so wanna start working on it asap !!! hehehe

Thanks

If you're okay with your current set-up, just repair the bad injector and keep it moving. I mean, if you start throwing those other parts on your motor, it's going to create problems; especially if you'r not good at tuning.

1. As far as I know SAFC can handle +/- 50% , so if stockers are 370cc then the most you could use would be 555cc.
2. No. Get the injector situation figured out 100% first before you add multiple used parts to the mix.
3. DSM 450cc injectors can be found for $50 a set on ebay and can be used with the CA O-rings.

The injector is not worth fixing, cap is all screwed, leaking fuel, getting stuck, as far as the other parts i probably wont add anything else yet.

Thanks for the answer on the SAFC!! the DSM are the ones from the talon eclipse right?
checked ebay and only found em for around 90 bucks but is still ok.

I know that the AT uses 390 and the manual uses 450cc, so i just need to change the O-rings??

I´ve heard that you dont need to change settings on the AFC is the injectors are not that big like going from 370cc to 380cc but I guess Ill need to visit the Dyna again with the 450 ones

Thanks

It's not worth the headache. Jusr replace the one bad injector and put your car back on the road. This will buy you some time to source the correct parts to achieve whatever your goal is.

changing injectors will need a remap. Your SAFC tricks the ECU by modifying the MAF input, and it will not be enough to compensate injector latency change.

Also, be aware that the OEM 370cc injectors flow 370cc ... when used @ 3bar. CA18 uses 2.5bar.

I dont quite understand why the N60 maf is so popular here. It does not flow that well (around 350HP max compared to the 500-550HP max from an N62). Why dont you use an S14 SR20det maf ? Straight fit (same plug), and i can measures around 290HP. You will need a remap of course.

Best bet would be to get OEM injectors, try going on sxoc BBS in the breakers yard section, you will find them for a tenner.
