Need help in a possible purchase

I have a 1993 HB as of now but I might get a maroon 1991 coupe SE it has 152000 on the chasis but the engine was pulled from a junkyard and no record of how many miles on that engine. The offer is 2500. my biggest concearn is that the oil pressure light flashes on and off occasionally, the mech. said that it needs a new oil sender? and it doesnt' have the cruise hooked up and it's not as quick as my hatch which is stock. can you guys give me some advice thanks from a noob!!
