I took a picture but thought I could just upload it straight here. On the “left” side of the engine (drivers side) there’s a strap near the strut mount that has a bolt connected to it. In the middle of a valve cover change, figure I’ll try to find out. I’ve looked at other vehicles in the yard and it seems to go straight down, but can’t figure out where. Feeling all around, I can’t find anywhere to bolt it to.

A picture would be of major help here.

It is just a ground, generically speaking, if the other ens is attached to the fender, the loose end finds a spare threaded hole in the valve cover.

Also check the exhaust manifold cover. I've seen those fastened by one of the mani cover bolts to the engine then the strut tower/engine bay.

I figured it’s a ground of sorts. Just can’t think of what. I’m hoping it’s not for my air mix door motors...which don’t work. Fixing to figure out why after I get to this right valve cover bank.

It does seem to lead to the exhaust manifold. But I can’t f*** see or feel s*** under there. It’s a such a narrow space. Not to mention, the leaking gasket pretty much smoked out my exhaust manifolds. Maybe after a good clean I’ll be able to figure it out.
