So Basically my 2 way ate an output flange and bent back one of the flanges where the bolts connect.

My problem is that NO ONE seems to know where the hell they came from.

Its a 6 bolt, 3x2 bolt pattern as all 240's have, but it has the 4 channel ABS system of a Z32. Basically the ABS rings are on the output shafts.

Pic for reference:

See that gearish ring looking deal sitting between the pumpkin and the bolts? I haven't been able to find any other 6 bolt output flange like that.

Any ideas people? I really need this thing asap. Its my only car and I've been dailying it with only 4 bolts in

The picture I posted is off the passenger side output shaft and the axle's meeting point.

Here's another picture of comparison to show yall what I mean.

Picture above is a regular S14 output flange next to a NA Z32 flange. See how the Z32 flange has that "gear ring" at the base of it, but the S14's doesn't?

Well the ones I have with my diff are a mixture of the 2. It still has the S14 6 bolt pattern, but it has that 4 channel ABS "gear ring" at the base of it, just like the Z32's.

My question is, what car did this come from so I know where to loo to order another.

My bet it's probably a Japanese piece. Did you purchase the diff like that? Or did you modify your stock diff housing to have a 2 way and those output flanges have always been there?

My 180sx diff came with USDM style flanges instead of the standard 5 point "star" flanges. Lots of oddities out there.

Sorry I don't know what those flanges are from.

Nope it taken directly from another S14. I did no modifications to it whatsoever.

I did however try to insert a standard S14 shaft and it was thick enough. I could spin it by hand and it would hardly catch any of the gears.

Ok so finally, here are some decent pics:

In this one, I circled in red the ABS rings, the 4 channel ABS system I was referring to that Z32's have.

A few things to note here. On the right, there's the ABS plug that my old VLSD used to hook up to, but this diff doesn't have the male plug for it. Also to the left, there's a mismatched bolt hole. So I'm thinking this isn't a S14 diff, but has a S14 diff cover.

And another one showing the body of it.

What yall think?

Did your car have factory ABS? Could be looks to be a q45 diff. Do you know where it came from?

Yea it used to be ABS when I had my old stock VLSD. Not sure at all where it came from, just came off another S14, which obviously isn't where that one came from either.
