After i put the turbo kit on my car, i'm getting codes for the IACV . I replaced the IACV(new) and still gets the code. It idles fine when cold but when its warms up it will die. When i'm driving the car will die if i let go of the gas.

How do you have your IAC tube plumbed? Thats the larger "1/2" or so" metal line by your throttle body that was plumbed to your factory intake tube before.

Sorry i'm confused. I have an s14 with turbonetics turbo kit. The IACV that i replaced was in it's original place. I never rerouted the IACV if that's what you mean.

There is a tube that feeds the IACV.. Its about a 1/2" metal line that is right below your throttle body from the factory, there was a rubber line from that to your factory intake tube....

When you took your factory air intake off, what did you do with this line?

Bump, as I would like to know the proper routing of this line- Should it receive air from the intake (pre-turbo), or the cold side, after the IC?

Thanks!

I have mine installed to the cold pipe, works fine. So you swapped out the IACV and still have the code...what are you using for tuning? SAFCII

WD?

maybe you have a cracked line on the back of the motor, the one that plumbs into the IACV (not on the intake side, but the one in back)... still, Id think that would come up with a vacuum leak type of problem too... but worth a check.
