How can I esplain....okay, the t/c rods main function is to prevent or minimize front to back movement of the spindle/wheel. The overall length of the t/c rod affects castor. Usually while encountering speed bumps for example, the stock rod with goo filled bushing will deflect and the tires will be pushed back a li'l bit. The same thing also happens when turning to a certain extent. It is not really noticeable the difference this part makes unless you have driven on the stock, worn out part and then you upgrade to a solid connection. Unless of course you are driving around with a worn, torn up bushing, then the deflection is very noticeable, thudding noises from the front end, shaking and a generally unbalanced feel from the front end.As for the coilovers, I have seen older sets of GAB's that look very similar to what you have to include the position of the adjustment knobs. Unfortunately though, the GAB replacement shocks is what you appear to have. They are very similar to the KYB AGX's in appearance to include the red color. The only way to know for certain is to remove the wheel and see if the shock housings are threaded where the springs mount up. Which I doubt is the case.
