Sounds like it time for them to give you new key fobs ...

Please contact Infiniti Corporate Customer Support and get them to intervene with the Dealer, if he is not being supportive of this.

The memory seat and power mirror problem is a bit of an unknown - there might be a controller module that is dead. What does Dealer doing a Consult testing indicate is the source?

Let me ask one obvious question for the heck of it ...

You are in PARK when you try to set the memory seat into the seat memory, right? And, also in PARK, when you click it to take it to the location of the setting?

If NOT, then please note that it will not work when in any gear (even if stopped with your foot on the brake)! This is a safety thing ... if a short person got into the car, and, while driving person, pressed the button for somebody tall, it could move the seat to a position where they could not reach the accelerator and brake! Serious chance for an accident.

Have you had any after market equipment installed? this sounds like an electrical problem and since it's not just one problem, all of these issues could be related. Have you checked the fuse panel for any blown fuses or shorts?

soundsl like you have a dead battery in the remote or the remote itslef has failed. seat memory is programmed to each remote. so if it is dead it wont work....remote should take 2035 battery its is easy to pop it open and put it in. just take the machenical key out first

Seat memory is programmed to each remote? I had no idea. How does that work? I have two buttons that I always use and they are on the driver's lower door panel.

when you program memory seat it is suppose to set it to the remote you are using at that time. when you open the door with remote its links remote to 1 or 2 mem seat

i may be confusing it with new M .... damit i cant remember ill try to remember and look in to it tomorrow at work. anyway i do think all your problems are tied in to low batt or bad remote.

the new m can link the fob to the seat memory. I couldn't figure it out even with the owner's manual, but then again I have a short attention span for things like that.

I'd like to refresh this article as my '06 M35X seat is not going back to my setting. This is a new developement/problem I've never had. I called the dealer and they said it's just one of thOse things but i bring it in. I didn't have enouh confidence in the dealer at that point to drop it off and be inconvenienced just not to have it fixed. THIS IS A KNOWN problem based on waht folks ar saying and I have to ask when we'll have a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

The problem: after setting my position (I'm the only one who uses the car) and getting back into the car, after starting the wheel, and seat momve but not to my setting I have to press #1 to have it go back to my setting...WHAZ UP?Thanks
