ok so im gonna buy some nice rims for my versa . . .i tried going through the wheel calculator to figure out if they will fit on my car with tires i already have so i wanted to know if anybody out there had this rim and tire combination and if you could tell me if its safe maybe you dont have it but your familiar with what would fit and you could let me know that would be great. i just really dont understand all the terminology and whats good and whats bad. ok so rite now i got 15x5.5 40mm offset 185/65/15this is what i want to put on it 15x6.5 38mm offset 205/55/15

wiould this be good? bad ? ok ?

please let me know

Ah, the 'ol North Smithfield.

...I used to live in RI.

Yeah, that combo should work just fine. Note: You will be DECREASING your overall wheel diameter.

Your speedo will read 2.4% too fast, so when it reads 60, you'll actually be going 58.6.

those will fit fine, just a quick bit of knowledge... i have a set of rims that are 20x7.5 wrapped in 225/30/R20 and my car is lowered with tanabe springs, you can go as wide as 8 in the front with the correct offset, i think a safe bet would be either a +40 or +38 with 8 inch wide rims, what look are you trying to achieve?

Thanks for the info. There isn't any particular look that I'm going for I just found a really nice set of rims for my car and I just wanted to make sure they would fit first with the tires I have.

These are them:

yeah it's red! lol I'm finally starting to "pimp" out my versa. The rims are first then I'm also getting a new sound system, red and black seat covers, and new red and black floor mats. Anyone have an aftermarket stereo that they would recommend? I was thinking of going with sony but they only have one double din stereo and I'd rather have a double din than a single. so yeah...any ideas?

if you install a single din, you will get an extra storage compartment where the unused space is, i like it better this way, i usually just put my remote in it or even my phone...

205/55/15 tires wouldn't look bad lowered. They would be shorter than the stock tires but they would have the proper load ratings and handling would be better than the stock "donuts"

As for a double-din deck, Pioneer and Clarion also have double-dins. Clarion's looks more factory (they make the stock deck, go figure). I most likely will be installing my Pioneer double-din GPS deck tomorrow.

I don't think I could afford a dvd player, not with everything else I plan on doing to the V. I'm only looking to spend like $250 tops for a stereo.
