Okay i have black top S13 sr w/ Greddy FMIC, old HKS bov, autozone air filter, trust exhuast.

my mina problem i have is getting my car started. Im not sure it its just weather related or fuel related, but its really starting to piss me off. I turn the key and i can hear the fuel pump cut on. I turn the ket and i can hear the engine crank, but wont turn over. It usually takes me several (5-6) times get to finally turn over and start. Usually by the 4th time im pumping the throttle in attempts to help it out. after that i have to hold it btwn 2000-2500 rpms, for a good min or so so it can warm up enough to idle it self.

so is this just caued by the cold weather, or is there some part of my fuel system messed up.

Okay my next problem im not sure. ever since i've had my swap done(Nov 07) i've had a good amount of Oil coming out of my BOv. i doesnt like flow out or any thing, but the intake pipe under it has a small build up of oil on it, and so does the lip of the BOV. Is this just because the spring in my old HKS bov is really soft and old, or im i suffering a bit of blow by from the turbo from a bad oil seal or something.

my last problem im kinda 50/50 on. Since i picked up teh car its always idled at 1500 rpms, even once its been running. Now i know when my swap was completed it didn't have air filter on it, so the owner adjusted my IDCV to be high so the enige wouldn't stall when the car wasn't in motion. HOw do i lower it, and could this cause problems if i dont lower it or if i do lower it.

please help, im getting really sick of putting up with the car. I need to get it to a more reliable state so i can pick up a job. with how it is now its impossible to use daily, and Ohio doesn't really give them the weather i need to just lay around all day in my car trying to trouble shoot problems. So if you can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

what fuel pump are you using? Maybe try that additive that cleans the fuel lines. damn cant remember what its called sorry Im being vague but you should be able to get them anywhere.

To adjust the IACV turn the screw by the intake manifold.... actually you might wanna try cleaning that out too might help with other problem. there is a thread on here somewhere that will show you how to clean it that same screw adjusts it.
