Haven't seen anyone do the VET swap yet.
One of the things I REALLY regret doing when we pulled out my KA was, we didn't realize that the driveshaft was the pull out kind, so we disconnected the driveshaft right behind the transmission. THere are 6 bolts that hold it on, and it's pretty much a PITA to get it back on, especially with the transmission already there now. I'm probably going to have to take the whole driveshaft off to connect it up.
I would also recommend disconnecting the brake booster hose off of your firewall, and put that on before you drop the engine in. It's not super hard, but it's kinda in an akward place, and it would be a lot easier to do with the enging outside.
Other than that, the swap is pretty uneventful.
