WD, do you see the irony of the post by S13FX in your sig? He asks if he should look like a "Polak" waxing his car, but misspelled the very racial slur he was going to use to describe a race of people reputed to be dumb and ignorant...

The test is probably the same for both MAFS. It will say test between signal and return I'm sure..

I totally see it. Mike is a good guy, I simply had to quote that though. I almost pissed myself when I read it the first time. In the context of the conversation it was hilarious...

Alright, on the MAF, I get .6-.9v while cranking, so that seems pretty good to me. Also, I know it isn't spark now (not that it ever was) because I put in the Jacob's i.C.E. Pak ignition. I just have a fuel issue. I guess I am going to have to check my tune, either it is wrong, or misburned, or something (I think), because everything else is good.

BTW, does anyone know anything about this thing about the MAF being to close to the turbo? If it is causing a prob, I should be able to disconnect the MAF and it would start, right? Also, this seems strange to me: When I disconnect the MAF, I do not get the MAF code, does that seem right? All of my wiring has been checked, and triple checked.

Still looking for any ideas.

Have you checked your injectors? Maybe you've ripped one or more O-rings and it's dumping fuel into the cylinders....

No, I am going to do that tomorrow. The reason is, that I was monitoring consult, and was noticing that pulsewidth never exceeded 4ms with the pedal at WOT, it was usually at 2-3ms while cranking. That is just about right, isn't it? So I was thinking that the issue is either that the min pulsewidth is too high, or the injectors are too big/o-rings are torn.

The MAF looks good in terms of voltage, and pulsewidth is what I would expect for something in a stock injector. I will do some more research on Hex and my burner, and see if I can get a new chip. I have some screen shots of the consult during KOEO and Cranking, but I don't know of a hosting site. If someone knows of one, I will put them up.

Okay, so I checked my K value, and it is 7D28, and apparently (via LiveEdit) it should be 3CE3. Guess what is 7D28? 270cc/min injectors. So maybe that is the problem, I will check it out tomorrow, and see.

I will let everyone know.

EDIT:actually, I keep rescaling and it keeps changing, IDK.

What size injectors do you have? Maybe you should do more research on rom tuning before you blow your engine.

I understand that, but I can't find anything. Do you know of a good place to find some more of this info? Specifically, I am looking for an equation for this also, how to figure my various values. I have 555cc's, do you know how to help me?

I appreciate the help, but if you look on there, you will notice that I am a member. Also, I search and search, and find nothing. Further, it is such a slow moving forum full of guys with 'big penises' that it is hard to get anything done.

I do appreciate the help, though.

Maybe in retrospect. But by that logic, I should have gone SR, because it was easier, right? LOL!

Alright, I checked fuel pressure and it is about 55psi with the Walbro. 0psi on the outlet. I don't see any problem with that. Pressure is a little high, but I kind of expected that. Should there be pressure on the outlet of the reg?
