Need Help - from someone under a G50 today

i need to know if there is a difference between left and right side of part #55120 - - so far i know that the 300z uses the same part for both sides.the q has different parts for rt and left. IOS suggested maybe just a bushing change... i do know from Kuah @ SPL that the LH is 9.5" long not sure about RH.

i am trying to figure if i can use 2- LH arms and not wait for the rh from Japan.thanksJames

james- i'll go out on a limb here and say that from my experience, if the 5 digit base part number is the same (55120 in this case), then the part is the same name part. usually, if there is a rh to lh difference (valve cover gasket is good example), the base part number will be slightly different.the suffx number (i'm assuming it will be 6_U_ _ ) may indeed be different, usually indicating a part revision over the years (many G50 parts started as 60U00, and morphed until 1996). sometimes the suffix will denote a different length---long way of saying i would not count on the RH and LH being the exact same part.

i was under the car on lift yesterday.

the length and geomatery (sp) seem to be the same

the only difference is the RH side has a tab welded to it for something that i do not have any more.

so i am gonn order 2- LH (like the 300z uses) and give it a whirl....James
