I would wait. If you paid with Paypal, then you can escalate the claim based on 'item recieved was not what seller said it was'. Open that type of claim, add in the information and explain that you have already sent the item back. When it becomes escalated, Paypal will look into it, and auto charge the charge back from the seller. Just be calm and explain the whole situation to Paypal. They will resolve it.
