Hi guys I am posting for a friend of mine, and basically he is thinking seriously about buying an SRed 240SX in Boca Raton, which is near Fort Lauderdale. But basically here's my question. He has had alot of work done to the engine, however all this work was done by a friend. This friend apparently knows quite a bit about the SR, and has worked for a few area shops. This friends name is Chris Berry. Has anyone every heard of this guy? Anyone know how I can contact him? Any help is much appricaited. Thanks Chris Morrow

I live in Florida. Ive never heard of him. What exactly do you want us to tell you? If we know him or if he should buy the car? Is the car the one on ebay with a siliva front end conversion, a shelll with 100k miles on it and an SR with 20k, and gunmetal Tenzo R rims?

Yeah that's the very car, I have a friend whose interested in buying it and he asked me to check it out. I called the guys and he seemed pretty cool, but he was very vague on his knowlege of the car. So I wanted to talk to the guy who performed all the work on the car and see what the deal is. My friend is going to look at the car saturday, and everything looks good from the pics I've seen, but I most want to find out about the engine work that his friend did. Thanks guys Chris

Ya, I was thinking about buying that car but I didnt want to take the risk. Seems like a pretty good deal tho. If all you have is money for the car i wouldnt suggest buying it. But if you have some extra cash for repairs than i think it could be a good investment in the long run. But thats just a hunch. Could be a complete P.O.S. Who knows. GOod luck with it though ;)
