Hey guys, okay, I have made me a site and have found a design that I like and I would like it to be a automotive information site where people could goto and learn more about certain subjects(forced induction, suspension, etc. etc.). But I cannot do it alone, so Iam asking if anyone in their spare time could write up some articles on anything car related, hell even a write up on engine bearing materials, uses and differences would be good. If you write something and decided to use, could(if possible) submit pictures too and tell me where in the article they should be positioned. The articles do not have to come as html, I can do that myself, if you like. Just write it up your favorite word processor, slap some pics and send em my way!!! If you send one, please leave what you want as the authors name(real name of SN) and the email address(optional), because the author gets credit for what he writes.

Just a thought, that big ole oil thread awhile back would be a very informative write up for the site.

Here is the site so everyone can see.

http://blindspeed.shift240.com

If this takes off Ill register my own domain, so I wont be moochin off the shift240 guys :D

Thanks!!!

Justin(TrueSlide)

*edit: btw, my email addresses are

[email protected] or

[email protected]

edit again: Also if you send me stuff, you can give me a website in place of the email and I will have it so your author name will be a link to your personal/company site.

Anything man, anything that could be beneficial to anyone reading it, like some examples(but not limited too):

articles on turbo compressor mapsfuel tuning/understandingengine dynamicsFreds oil thread was a good example of informative articles.Super ChargersNitrous(what is, how it works, teaching a understanding on what happens, how to set it up.)

Hmm, some examples of what I was trying to say:

Those are some examples, sorry if I sound so confusing. Iam trying to make a good sized information site, so someone will be like, what do I need to know about cams or turbos and they can just a link to a good article on that subject.

A giant 240sx FAQ would be killer.

Well, its whatever, but I would perfer if it was written by the person sending it in, if they had to use alot of resources and stuff, at the end of the document, leave reconginition of where you got it, I dont know if that would violate copyright laws or what so Iam trying to be safe. :D

It's kinda like http://www.howstuffworks.com but only for cars, right? I'd love to see a better example of how a transmission works, I still dont friggen understand them.

Yes, a howstuffworks for cars would be a good way to look at it. I think it would be a good area for people to come and learn without having to go too far and search(which can be frustrating).
