I have a short video clip on VHS (yes, I know, archaic) that I want to somehow convert to a watchable and "mailable" digital format (can you tell I don't know what the hell I'm talking about?).

I flirted with the idea of purchasing the Dazzle video capture programs and vidcap card package, but it's a bit pricey and I think my PII/333mHz would choke on it.

Anyone know how I can get this clip converted, without incurring a ton of expense or difficulty?

Just to pique your interest, it's a clip of me (this weekend) getting my wife's modified '90 Suburban airborne. WHEEEEE!

yeah your right....your P2 would lag like a loading..heh....but thats the only way I believe. I used to work at best buy and Im not sure what policies they have now but what I know this guy used to do was purchase the video card and then use it for a few days and then return it saying he didn't like it or something. If your gonna do this make sure that you can return it. Thats all.I also believe if you take it somewhere else that it will cost you more to digitize it. You can might even look for a ATI All In Wonder card for your PC which I think ebay has them for round $100 or less.
