I am new to this forum and actually new to the g...I just bought a 05 g35 coupe this past summer and want to do a couple of modifications. I am interested in painting the headlights on the inside black (the color of my car) as well as cleaning my lenses. I have found out from some friends that have done the same thing to their car except only a camero. They told me that in order to do this i need to place the lenses inside an oven at about 200 degrees and the lenses should then easily come off! I was going to buy some krylon fusion semi gloss to paint the inside and then cover them with a clear coat. To clean the lense i was going to buy some maguirs plast-x. If anyone has any other suggestions or comments that i should or should not do please let me know

You can go with the oven but its really risky because your headlights can melt. What I did was get a heat gun and melt the glue around the edges and then popped it open. And afterwards you can just melt it back together.
