I posted in the regional forum but I didnt get any help sorry for posting in two places. I am looking for a shop that can tune my safc in oxnard ca. I need somewhere close because I will have to drive my car there. I hooked up my wideband today along with my boost controller. I cant seem to go above 2500 rpm. At idle it stays at about 10. At 2500rpm it stays at 12-13. I am looking for a shop. I just moved here so I dont know much about this place. Thanks for the help

how much boost are u running? so the wideband is reading 10 at idle? is ur idle smooth or does the car feel like it wants to die? also u said the rpms wont go past 2500 or is it 3000? could be a bad maf if thats the case. also what wideband are u using? was it calibrated properly? and what size injectors are u using?

My wastegate is set at 10 psi but I am going to run 8 psi. 370cc injectors. I have a smooth idle. At 2500 it runs good then it jumps from 2500 to 3000 and keeps jumping back and forth when foot is on pedal. The maf was fine before I Ka-t it. This is the 5 time I have started teh car up so I dont think the maf is bad. I am using aem widebad I dont think it has to be calibrated.

When the car is first started it has a pretty smooth idle but when it gets to normal operating temperature it the idle is a bit rough when you give it gas it wants to drop down. I am going to mess with my decel settings and see what happens

It doesnt go to 3000 rpm it just jumps up and down a little a 2500

I tried to tune with the wideband but I failed miserably. I let the car warm up to normal operating temp. then started to mess with lo throttle. I had it set a -17 for 1000 rpm but it was reading on the wideband as 10.00 So I tried to go down to 0, 1% at a time it starts to change on the wideband but barely. The reading was 10.4 then it would go 14 then go back to 10. It was jumping around. When I tune it down to about -3 to -1% the engine just wants to die out. I dont know if I have my wideband sensor to high on the downpipe. I have it where the existing o2 sensor should be. I dont know if that will cause me to have inaccurate readings or not. I read somwhere that you can reset your stock ecu by twisting a knob on the back. If I do that will it allow me to drive the car in low boost until I find somewhere to tune my safc II for me. I also read that if your safc is miswired it will not allow you to rev past 2500-3000 rpm. That is also one of my problems right now.

Thanks,Randy
