So I was moving a dishwasher with my roomates new versa and it was dark well the next day we found out we had jacked up the panels in the trunk and now he is throwing a fit saying i need to pay for the repairs and all that. i was wondering if someone could help me find these panels i looked around and couldnt find the names of them or the part numbers, he says its going to be like $800 to fix but in my mind its like a $30 fix. either way if someone could help me find these panels for sale that would be great. here is a pic of the panels im looking for

I would call local junkyards and look for Versa's with an intact trunk. Lots of them now have parts under inventory and will tell you over the phone if they have what you need. I believe the interior comes only in 2 colors so you have a 50% chance of getting a hit. All trunks might even be black, not sure. I do know however that all years of Versa have the same trunk, so any Versa a junkyard has will work as long as the trunks intact. (Assuming it's a hatch and not the sedan)

I had a fuse-able link disappear from my fuse box, a $45 fuse. Got it from a totaled Versa for $7

I don't get why he's throwing a fit at you now.

Honestly if he had a new car why did he help move a dishwasher. I'd never throw something like that in my Versa, I'd borrow an old van or car off family or friends. He should have known carrying something that large could possibly cause damage.

well he didnt know that i was moving the dishwasher with his car, his wife was with me, either way i said i would pay for it, because i did scratch up his brand new car and it was my fault. we called the junk yards here in town none of them have versa's, thats why i was posting here to see if someone knew what they were called, i guess ill take it over to the dealer and see if they can get me part numbers for them. thanks for the help

His car is eventually gonna get messed up anyways so tell him to quit being a baby. Best bet though is a junkyard if you wanna avoid the stealership.

I just popped that panel off the other day actually. Pop off the panel on top where the hatch lock is. Then the 2 on the side of the panel, use a flathead screwdriver. Then yank it hard and it'll come off.

Then tell your roomate to quit being a baby. I scratched mine up the first day i got it loading stuff in the trunk. Its on the inside, not the outside and he let you move a dishwasher in it. What do you expect?

Take them off. Sand them down real fine, and paint them? haha

I hope you can find a reasonable fix though.. There is no way it would cost even close to $800 to fix that. Maybe a local junk yard near you could order the parts from one of their other junkyards in a different city for a small fee?
