Hey guys,

Like the title indicates, I'm looking for the best price (new) for an aftermarket downpipe for the N/A KA24DE. Need one with the flex joint because I'll be putting in a Greddy header (the one that doesn't go all the way down to the second cat) and they're known to crack at the flanges. So I'm hoping that an aftermarket downpipe with a flex joint would prevent this.

Here's exactly what I'm looking for:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V

That's for the Megan Racing one. It's a bit more pricey. They also have the no-name ones for a few bucks cheaper. Does anyone know the difference between the no-name ones and the Megan one?

What are your thoughts on these aftermarket downpipes? Can anyone who owns one give a brief review of them?

And most importantly, are there any other sources besides eBay and CHEAPER that I can get them for?

You can never get any cheaper than Megan Racing. Actually buying Megan Racing stuff almost makes me nervous. If you want your car to last a long time man, i dont skim out on stuff, but at the same time, its just a down pipe...

You should have bought a 4-2-1 header the ka's like them more for some reason...i had a megan racing 4-1 header and downpipe on my car and i didn't like it...i replaced it with the obx 4-2-1 header and the gains are way more than the setup your about to have...but do some searching on the internet i'm sure you can find a name brand for cheap instead of buying one off ebay.

http://HeavyThrottle.com has the Megan SR Downpipe with flex section for $109.I run 240/248 cam setup with full 3in. Exhaust, Greddy Header, High Flow Cat and SR Downpipe and none of my All Motor friends can out Accelerate me either from a Stand still or from a roll.

Besides the cams, I will be having a similar engine set up. AEM SRI, 3in Blitz, Catco high flow cat (not test pipe), Greddy header.

Not my question is... the SR downpipe will fit on our KAs (and Greddy header)? I really just need a downpipe that has a flex joint to prevent the Greddy header from cracking at the flange. If the SR downpipe fits with the KA, then I'll just go with the one you linked just because it's cheaper than ebay!

The Downpipe I'm currently using doesn't have a flex section so I Filled my stock Motor Mounts and Exhaust hangers to take out most of the play. Plus Greddy Headers crack at the EGR tube so I just welded mine closed.
