Need Help Finding A 1998 QX4 Bug Shield Hood Deflector

Hi my 1998 QX4 factory hood bug deflector broke today at the car wash, and I called the dealer and they told me they no longer make it.

I can't seem to find one for a 1998 QX4, only for the 2001 & up. I heard that the Pathfinder one fits but what year?

Also what is the best looking one that fits, because I loved mine & it made the truck look mean.

Here is a picture of mine, if theirs one that is similar to mine please point me in the right direction, because all the pictures of the Pathfinder bug shields that are for sale, are stock pictures of other trucks, so I don't know what they look like.

My friend put a bug deflector from a Jeep Grand Cherokee on his 1997 Pathfinder and it seems to fit pretty well. Not sure what it would be like for your QX4 though.

The same year pathfinder bug shield will fit your Q. Later years will also fit for the most part.

So your saying the 2001 QX4 deflector will fit the 1998 QX4? There are 6 company's that make them for the 96-99 Pathfinder but they all have stock pictures of other cars, & some deflectors just look bad.

I have no way of knowing what any of the company's looks like unless some one has it on there vehicle, and takes pictures because none of the company's I called had any pictures.

I liked mine because it gets slightly higher in the middle and wraps around both sides & looks sleek.

Have u tried amazon.com for Lund deflector? That is where I ordered mine from. Cannot say for sure if it would fit the Q.

Actually, I don't know why I said that, I guess because I thought I knew.
The best thing to do would be to google the different years and pathy vs qx4 and look at the front hood contouring. Or pull up next to a different year Q/same year pathy/ different year pathy etc in parking lot and compare.
I started looking for a deflector for my 01 Q and noticed that the 01 pathy hood contouring is different.

My truck has been sitting for 8 months because I had to change the timing belt,water pump etc.

I was wondering if anyone has found out or knows if the 2001+ QX4 hood bug deflector fits a 97-00, because I still don't know?

Also if someone knows of a place or someone selling a clean factory one off a 97-00 please let me know.
