Hey everyone, I just bought an '04 350Z. I am not very handy or mechanically inclined. Where should I begin for mods? I do not have a huge budget, but I would like to make some changes for some more HP and better sound. I have been told by some that cold air intake and exhaust is the best way to start. Is this true? If so, any reccomendations? And what is the difference between a cat-back system and a true dual system...dont laugh, I told you I am not mechanically inclined. Thanks.

Go here to learn about mods: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/350Z-TECH

I learned a lot from this site, and I believe by reading a bit of it, you'll begin to understand what mods are best and have better questions to ask besides: "What should I get?" -Not flaming you here, just giving some advice. I was in the same position too. :D

Anyways, I've just started modding and I'm going with a new exhaust and some high flow cat's. To me it seemed like one of the best mods and it's not too complicated.

I think wheels are a popular one too. I don't like the stock 04' spokes.

The article on the 350Z forum main page is a good start. "Read Before Making Any Mods On Your Z"
